Charles Paul Kasbee, Sr., (Chuck) of Palm Beach Shores, Florida died on October 13, 2022, at the age of 69. Born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, he lived in Boardman, Ohio most of his life, moving to Palm Beach Shores, FL in 2008. Chuck graduated from Boardman High School in 1971. He was a graduate of Youngstown State University, with a bachelor's degree in business. Chuck worked for General Motors for thirty years and was a member of UAW Local 1112 in Lordstown, Ohio.

After his retirement he continued his interesting life. He started out in security for multiple properties on the island including the Ritz Carlton, Marriott, and Starwood Resorts. Not being one that was able to sit still, he then worked security for CSC. This position allowed him to travel all over the world to places such as Europe, Mexico and the Islands while working on cruise ships. These venues included working for famous bands as well as large sporting events. His last job was a project manager for Decorators Unlimited on various locations in South Florida.

His passions were fishing and boating, hence the nickname “CAPTAIN”, which kept him on the waters as much as possible. He was a great teacher to his wife, sons and grandchildren and loved to share his catch with all.

Chuck was a devoted son to his predeceased parents Charles H. and Irene Kasbee. Chuck is survived by his beloved wife Deborah of 48 years (his high school sweetheart), his loving sons Charles P. Kasbee, Jr., (Fiancée Kimberly Clark and sons Sean and Shane Kiernan) and Joseph M. Kasbee, Sr., also his loving grandchildren Joseph M. Jr., and Peyton E. Kasbee, his siblings David (Carole) Kasbee and Richard (Karen) Kasbee and Christy (Mark) Sullivan, also many nieces, nephews and longtime friends.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Saint Paul of the Cross RC Church on Saturday November 12th , at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, in Chuck's name, a donation can be made to Loggerhead Marine Life Center Juno Beach, Fl 33408 or F.I.S.H. for disaster assistance to Sanibel Captiva Islands www.fishofsancap.org
