Larry Wayne Soden

Larry passed away unexpectedly after battling heart disease Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at his home in West Palm Beach at 85 years of age.

Larry is preceded in death by his father Robert Harrold Soden, his mother Alma Jane Johnson, stepfather Bill, brother Bobby, daughter Cheryl Melissa George who passed July 10, 1986, at just 5 years of age and his daughter Kathleen Michelle George who passed at 29 years of age July 28, 2004. 

Larry is survived by his loving companion Sharon George, his wonderful daughters Debbie Safranek, Candace Bennett and her husband Eric, Kristina Anderson, his beloved sister Sharon Vernon, thirteen cherished grandchildren, one niece, one nephew, and many dear friend's. Larry loved and will be missed by his beloved pets; his Beagle Sally, African Grey Parrot Popeye, Caique Parrot Jasper, and Quaker Parrot Amber.

Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army where he served two years in Germany. He was an avid fisherman and spent many years out in the ocean catching record breaking fish, he had a passion for building and racing Monte Carlos at Moroso, and he owned and operated Soden's Auto Repair for 40 years until he retired in 2012. Larry will be remembered by his cherished family as the most selfless, thoughtful, and loving man who ever lived. He took time for others and greatly invested into many while here on this earth. Larry knew and loved the lord wholeheartedly, he lived life to the fullest and took on many adventures.

A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, March 29th from 4:00 - 8:00 PM, followed by services Wednesday, March 30th 11:00 AM both at Northwood Funeral Home of West Palm Beach, FL.
