Ways you can honor Rena's memory:
It is with great sadness that the family of Rena Ann Williams announces her passing, after a brief, though courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at the age of 61. Rena will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Vivian Ekey, Murray Williams (Kathy), and Charles Williams (Debbie); her nephews, William Ekey and Patrick Ekey; her nieces, Jennifer Laber, Heather Saunders (Steve), Kelly WIlliams, Sarah Peterson (Mike), and Olivia Williams; and her great nieces and nephews, Penny, Davis, Robbie, and Delilah. She was predeceased by her mother, Inez Williams, and father, Charles Williams. Rena was born on January 29, 1957, in New Bern, NC. She came to Palm Beach County in 1960. She attended St. Ann Catholic School, North Shore High School, Palm Beach Community College, and Barry University. Rena's most recent position was The Director of First Impressions with the Law Firm of Cohen, Norris, Wolmer, Ray, Telepman and Cohen. She had retired from Sikorsky after 27 years of service. Rena enjoyed boating and was a beach lover. Her favorite pastime was beachcombing for nautical treasures. Rena was very crafty and artistic, and often created cards and gifts for her friends with her shells. Rena was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Palm Beach Gardens for over 30 years where she volunteered on many committees throughout the years. Rena's personality was effervescent and had a sparkling smile. She was an animal lover and she never met a dog, or cat she didn't like. She was always cheerful. In honoring Rena's request, there will be no public funeral service.
