Charles J. Howard, Jr., 74, of Palm Beach Shores, FL passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, November 7, 2022 with his loving wife by his side.  Born on January 7, 1948, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Claire A. and Charles J. Howard, and brother to Patricia Policino and Claire Margaret Ward.  He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn B. Howard, and his children CJ III and Lizabeth.

A graduate of Lasalle University and member of their basketball team, he was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1969.  Following his 20 years of service to his Country, he moved his family to Atlantic Beach, FL where he traveled extensively for his company, nationally and internationally, in warehousing and logistics.

Chuck loved his Country (not always its leadership); he was vocal of his beliefs and proudly displayed the American Flag at all opportunities.  Chuck loved the ocean and its beaches.  An avid SCUBA diver and victor of the sun, he enjoyed annual vacations to St. Maarten.  He was a talented woodworker, problem solver, and eloquent writer, always available to assist those who asked and always a champion for his family and friends.  He was a strong man, with a soft heart, who will be missed by most who knew him and cherished by those closest to him.  ALOHA
