Ernest C. Gagnon Jr., formally of Nashua, N.H. born August 18, 1934, passed away and went tobe home with his loving Savior on March 16 th , 2024. He was married to Lorette E. (Belanger)Gagnon for 66 years, until her passing in February of 2022.

After returning from his tour of duty during the Korean Conflict, Ernest and his wife moved toWest Palm Beach, Florida where he joined the Northwood Funeral Home as an apprentice. In1968 he purchased the business, which he owned and operated until his retirement in 2020.

Ernest, known by his family and friends as “Joe”, was a devoted husband and father. He was asuccessful businessman, a devout Catholic, and an active and generous member of thecommunity, always willing to help others. He shared his success and knowledge of what hehad learned through the years with his family and the community. He had a special place in hisheart for his fellow vets always serving them proudly.

He loved playing and watching golf. He and his wife had the opportunity to attend numerous USOpen Tournaments around the country. They always enjoyed the tournaments and theopportunity to visit the local communities and regions where the tournaments were hosted.

He is survived by his daughter Lynn (Irby), three sons Mark, Steve, and Matthew, sixgrandchildren and three great grandchildren, his sister Maureen Colcolough, and brother Daveand his wife Pat .

Funeral services will be private, and he will be buried next to his devoted wife in the family’scemetery in Nashua, N.H. He will be deeply missed.
