Francis “Frank” Xavier Kearns passed away on September 6, 2024. Born in Passaic, New Jersey on July 13, 1961, Frank moved to Juno Beach, Florida with his family at the age of four. Frank was the seventh of eleven children, born to Rosemarie and Bill Kearns, who were known for their kindness, faith, and devotion to their family. The Kearns’ home was always full of love, and Frank grew up in a tight-knit family, cherishing the bonds with his brothers and sisters. Frank loved watching, and especially playing, all kinds of different sports. Wildly talented in every sport he played, Frank was well known for his skills in tennis, baseball, ping-pong, and football. He became scuba-certified at twelve years old, making him the youngest certified scuba diver in the nation at the time. He met his future wife, Anne Bryan, when he was 22, and the two married in 1985 and welcomed their first of five children in 1988. One couldn’t help but be drawn in by his charisma and innate humor. He livened up any room he entered, and his intelligence was apparent by his quick wit. Frank was a sweet and sensitive man whose top priorities were his relationship with God and his family. He, alongside his wife, Anne, raised five children in the Catholic faith and taught them the importance of putting trust in God and His unconditional love and limitless mercy. Frank was a third-degree Knights of Columbus, #4999 Santa Maria Council.

He dedicated over 30 years to his in-laws’ sandwich shop, Royal Sandwich Co., where he was affectionately known as “Mr. Royals”. He is predeceased by his mother and father, Rosemarie and William Kearns, as well as his brothers Paul, Nicholas, Bill, Joseph, Jack, and brother-in-law Mark Comstock; sisters, Theresa Thomas and Rebecca Martin; his in-laws, Rosalie and Donald Bryan; his nephews, Will Kearns, Randall Ray Irwin, Charlie Martin, and Mark Comstock; and his niece and goddaughter Julie Annis. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Anne; his five children, Mary Frances, Frank (Ivy), Claire (Eamon) O’Connor, Anthony, and Grace; his granddaughter Josephine O’Connor; his brother Gerard, his sisters Mariclaire Comstock and Kathleen (Randall) Irwin; his godson Gerard Martin, as well as countless nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Northwood Funeral Home & Crematory, 5608 Broadway, West Palm Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM Friday, September 20, 2024 at St. Clare Catholic Church, 821 Prosperity Farms Rd, North Palm Beach with Rev. Fr. Brian Flanagan as the main celebrant. Committal services and burial will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach.
