Lyra Pittman

May 4th  1923 – June 28th  2024

Lyra Pittman passed away peacefully on June 28th 2024, at 101 years old. 

She was the loving daughter of Ernest and Ruby Pittman, and sister to Warren Pittman

(Margaret).  She is survived by nephews David (Patrice) Richard, Great Niece and

Nephew Rhonda Pittman Schilling (Kenny), Stuart Pittman (Kelly), Edward Murphy 

(Cinthia), and Great Great Nephews Knox, Gage and Levi.

Lyra was born in West Palm Beach FL, where she has resided all her life.  She

was 2nd Generation co-owner of Pittman Brothers Company.  She enjoyed telling stories of growing up in West Palm Beach to anybody that would listen.  She loved to fish  and spend time at her Cabin in Georgia riding tractors and her four-wheeler in the woods. After her retirement she volunteered at the West Palm Beach Police Department where she befriended many co-workers.

Her extended family of Richard Kruse, Susan Montalbano and her Spanky boy (dog) brought her many years of Joy and Friendship. A special thank you to Shana, Marlon, Stella, Ted and all the ladies that helped care for her.
