Steve North, 73, a West Palm Beach native, died Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Steve was born on July 28, 1944, a son of Byron James "Jim" and Helen M. North, who owned the famous Jim-Bo Bavarian-AmericanRestaurant in West Palm Beach. Steve graduated from Palm Beach High, and went on to graduate from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor's degree. He served the City of West Palm Beach honorably, for thirty years, as an Officer with the Police Department, retiring at the rank of Sergeant. Besides his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his twin brother, John, in 2016, and another brother, Robert, Sr., in 1979. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Connie North; two children, Stevie and Lisa Marie; and his grandchildren. Also surviving Steve are his two step-grandchildren. There will be no formal funeral services. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you consider donations in Steve's name to either: Peggy Adams or a Veterans Organization.
