Tammy Elias, age 49, ended her battle with cancer and died peacefully on April 25, 2020 in her home in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She is survived by her loving husband, Gregory DelBene, her mother, Janice Johnson, and her stepfather, Richard Johnson.

Tammy was truly a wonderful woman and friend, and she was loved by all who knew her. She traded in her winter coat for flip flops when moved to Florida from her home state of Nebraska, but she never forgot her roots. She continued to show her midwestern pride by wearing her Chiefs hat almost daily, even in the Florida heat. Even though she was hard of hearing, she was an avid lover of music and loved to entertain. She had a spirit and work ethic that was unmatched. She continued to work throughout the entirety of her treatment, even up to a few days before her passing. Her light will be missed.

Given the current conditions, there will be no funeral services in Florida. Her family may choose to have services in Nebraska in the future. Further information will be provided at that time. If you would like to contribute, the family instead asks for donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Tammy's name.
