Ways you can honor Diane's memory:
Diane Dreusicke Riley passed away peacefully on March 17th, at her home in Riviera Beach, Florida following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by husband Ken Dreusicke, husband Earl Riley, and sister Linda de la Barba. Surviving Diane is her long time partner Keith Ablett, sister Barbara Ford, son Mark Dreusicke, son Jim Dreusicke and many beloved children, grandchildren and great grandchildren from her previous marriages.
Diane enjoyed hosting frequent social and holiday gatherings for family and friends in Iowa City, Iowa and Singer Island, Florida where she split her time. Before retiring in the late 1990s, Diane was a partner in a Toyota Dealership with her sons in Iowa City. She was best known for her selfless generosity, her strong spirit for life, and never being bashful about sharing her perspective. She belived in life enrichment and did so by helping others, by investing in family, by being a loyal friend, and traveling the world. The saying, "No grass grew under her feet" or as others might say 'to not let the grass grow under your feet', rightfully applies to Diane and the life she lived. Diane's energy, her life experiences, and passion for life, she shared with all.
Diane was a loving mom and friend to many and it truly warmed her heart.
Private services will be held at a future date.
