Jeremiah V. Sullivan "Jerry" 

88 years of age, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fl, died on September 4th, 2022, in West Palm Beach after a long illness. Jerry served in the US Army from 1953-1955 in Germany. He is a retired member of FDNY having spent 26 years of his career working at Ladder Co. 108 in Williamsburg Brooklyn. A proud member of FDNY, he was the first General Manager from 1974-1976 for the FDNY Bravest Football Team and then served as the Executive Director for several years. Following his retirement in 1985, he served as a Fire Safety Director for several Fortune 1000 companies in New York City.

Jerry, the son of Jeremiah and Josephine (Nee), was born and raised in Brooklyn. Years later he moved to Rockaway Beach, NY and later Palm Beach Gardens, FL. He is survived by his longtime partner Pat, his daughter Kelly Ann, son Timothy, granddaughter Monica, step granddaughter Mary, nieces Donna (son John), Beth Ann (John), Pennie (Ernie and son James), several other nieces and nephews and his former wife and longtime friend Peggy.

Due to lingering Covid Concerns, the family requests masks be worn both at the visitation and funeral mass. Visitation will be held at Northwood Funeral Home 5608 Broadway West Palm Beach, Florida 33407 on Monday, September 12th. Visitation for vaccinated individuals will be 3:00 - 5:00 PM and for those unvaccinated 5:00 - 6:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will begin sharply at 10:30 AM, the following morning, Tuesday, September 13th, at St. Clare's Catholic Church 821 Prosperity Farms Road North Palm Beach, FL 33408 with burial following at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Trustbridge Hospice of The Palm Beaches 5300 East Avenue West Palm Beach, FL 33407-2387 or the Thomas R. Elsasser Fund, Uniformed Firefighters Association 204 East 23rd Street New York, NY 10010.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home of West Palm Beach, Florida.
