Ways you can honor John's memory:
John Maletzke, age 64, of Jupiter, FL passed away Saturday May 30, 2020 after a long battle with Cancer. He was surrounded by his wife and children. John was born April 9, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan. After graduating from college in Michigan, John moved to Florida where he met and married the love of this life, Darla Barkley Maletzke. John was predeceased by his parents, Arnold and Helen Maletzke, and his Father and Mother in-law Donald and Evelyn Barkley. John is survived by his loving wife, Darla; his daughter, Deena (Pumpkin) Maletzke; his son, Sean Maletzke; the family Dog, Duke; and a big extended family of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and amazing friends that have been there for John every step of the way. Anyone that knew John knows that his family meant the world to him. He loved all sports. The Yankees being his favorite team. But his favorite sport of all time was watching Sean play Baseball. He will be missed dearly by all. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 6, 2020, at St. Clare Catholic Church, 821 Prosperity Farms Road, North Palm Beach, with Rev. Fr. William D. O'Shea presiding. Due to the fact that there is no burial afterward, the family kindly asks for donations, in lieu of flowers, to be made to Cancer Alliance Help & Hope.
