Neil Edmon Tedaldi of Jupiter, beloved brother, uncle, and friend has passed away on the morning of July 22, 20221 after a hard fought battle with cancer.   Born January 18th, 1955 at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, as a young man Neil helped start a still successful landscaping business in Miami. A passion for photography took him to Europe once as a cruise ship’s photographer. Prolifically clean, and unwaveringly tidy, Neil would urge you to consider folding your laundry while it’s warm to avoid wrinkles. Giving new meaning to the adage “Early to bed, early to rise…” Neil’s bedtime, unfaltering each night at 8:30 pm, accommodated his 4:00 am wake-up to begin work at Cod and Capers, where for nearly 30 years, he was a fixture and worked tirelessly to make business feel personal. As a coworker so aptly told Neil, “Every day is a Monday without you here.”   On Thursdays, he enjoyed a cheeseburger and tater-tots, and on Saturdays he switched it up with a hot-dog with cheese and again– tater-tots.   An avid golfer, and golf-fan, Neil attended many Master’s tournaments, and had two verified holes in one. Neil enjoyed plants and flowers. He loved pigs in a blanket, Jackson Browne, and apple jelly. He never paid a bill online. He signed his cards “Be Happy”, and never failed to send his best to those you knew and loved.   While Neil’s presence will be missed, his essence is carried on by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his siblings, Joanne Seymen, Gene Tedaldi and his wife, Denise, and Tony Tedaldi; his nieces, Elizabeth “Lizzie” Seymen, and Samantha “Sam” Tedaldi; his life-long friends; his work family, and strangers whose days he brightened with his disarming kindness.    A celebration of his life is forthcoming, and as details are confirmed they will be shared.
