Matolyak, Stephen Jr., 

Age 57 years of North Palm Beach, Florida, passed peacefully Thursday, April 13, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Steve is preceded in death by his father Stephen Matolyak. He is survived by his mother Angeline Matolyak, sisters; Debra McCloskey, Stephanie Matolyak, Nancy Cargill and her husband James Cargill, nieces; Missy McCloskey, Angela Mitchell and her husband Christopher Mitchell, great nieces; Aalivea McCloskey, Ella Mitchell, great nephew; Reese Golshani and his treasured dog Scotch. Steve is known by "uncle Steve" to many.

Steve was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and moved to North Palm Beach, Florida where he started his own successful business. Steve enjoyed fishing, boating, cooking, music of all kinds and growing plants, he somehow was able to make any plant grow and thrive. He had a talent for lighting up a room, telling great stories and making seemingly impossible jobs appear simple.

Steve's ashes will be committed to the sea that he so loved during a private family celebration. 

In honor and remembrance of Steve and his true spirit; Perform random acts of kindness, adopt a pet, spend time with the elderly, always have a great pair of flip flops, and never forget to laugh, life is too short.
