Walter Butkus of Palm Beach County passed into the presence of the Lord peacefully at home Monday, May 30th. Predeceased by his son Walter B, he is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-seven years Barbara, two sons Dana and Bryce and three grandchildren. Walter formerly of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Ohio retired from GM before moving to Florida. Walter was a member of the Huron, Ohio Lions Club and St. Paul of The Cross Catholic Church in North Palm Beach. He was an avid fisherman, very active with his wife in numerous social activities including bridge and loved spending time with his family. Walter was a true and local friend to many and will be dearly missed. A celebration of Walters life will take place Thursday, June 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Paul of The Cross Catholic Church in North Palm Beach, internment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace in Royal Palm Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul of St. Paul Church in North Palm Beach.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home in West Palm Beach.
