Ways you can honor Thomas's memory:
Thomas "Tom" H. Brown passed away Friday, September 1, 2023, at the age of 76 years. Born in 1947 to Marcia and Tom Brown Sr., Tom moved to Florida when he was five, calling the Sunshine State home for the rest of his life. He graduated from Jupiter High School in 1965, where he was an all star athlete, including leading the basketball team in scoring. While Tom was awarded a baseball scholarship to the University of Miami, he would later graduate from Georgia Southern with a teaching degree. Drafted to play for the Detroit Tigers as a shortstop, he would instead teach science before finding his passion for the car business, where he excelled at making deals and received numerous accolades for his salesmanship. Tom could always be found on the golf course and managed to ace three holes in one in his life. He also enjoyed cards and bowling, even scoring a perfect game. Tom also loved the mountains and enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his second home in Black Mountain, NC.
He is survived by his wife, Carla; her son, Geoffrey Brown (Patty); and three much beloved granddaughters, Samantha, Caroline, and Kameron.
A private funeral will be held to honor Tom. If so inclined, please make donations to St. Jude's Hospital in the name of Thomas H. Brown.
Love,
Caroline
