William "Bill" Joseph Gallant went home to the Lord on August 7, 2021.  Bill was born to Reginald and Lorraine "Mickey" Gallant on January 7, 1937, in Lynn Massachusetts.

Bill joined the US Army in 1955 serving in Korea until his Honorable Discharge in 1958. Upon coming home from Korea, he traveled the country, until 1970, when he met his beloved Annie and moved to West Palm Beach.

Bill worked as a renowned chef at the Bath and Tennis Club in Palm Beach until his retirement in 1996. He worked at other clubs during those years including: The Beach Club; Turtle Creek CC; Tequesta CC; and many others.

As a devout Catholic, Bill was a communicant of St Francis of Assisi Parish in Riviera Beach for over 50 years. Over the years he helped in many fundraisers and used his culinary abilities to help the church for various events.

Bill is predeceased by his wife, Annie Grace Gallant; his son William "Billy" Joseph Gallant Jr.; his parents, Reginald & Lorraine "Mickey" Gallant; his sister, Shelia Kenney; stepson, Jim Wix; and his granddaughter, Blair Echols. Bill is survived by his wife Linda Gallant; his daughters, Denise "Lori" (Scott) Beaupre, Kimberly (Scott) Felder; his son, Richard (Kristen) Gallant; his step-children, Micky (Pam) Wix, John (Kathy) Wix, Karen (James) Hendrix, Kelly (Jim) Berry, Tina (Jim) Collins, and Rick (Corie) McConnell. Bill is also survived by 22 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

The Christian Rite of Burial Mass will take place at 12 Noon Monday, August 16, 2021, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Riviera Beach, with Rev. Fr. Peter Truong presiding. Interment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach.
