Jeff B. Short, age 65 of Lake Park, Florida passed away suddenly on Friday, February 23, 2024. He is now reunited with his high school sweetheart, love of his life and wife of 40 years, Suzi Newton Short, who passed away in December 2021.      He is survived by his sisters Eleanor Love, Lori Dornbusch (Keith), Sonja Kezber, brother Jay Short (Debbie), sister-in-law Kristen Smallwood (Craig), brother-in-law Larry Newton (Loretta), mother-in-law Linda Newton and many beloved nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by his mother Virgina Leary and brother Michael Livingston.   Jeff was born on December 29, 1958 in West Palm Beach, FL. He was a graduate of Jupiter High School, class of 1976 and eventually he and Suzi settled in Lake Park.    In his spare time Jeff enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, racing RC cars and spending time with his friends and family. He was also a self-taught musician who played the drums with passion, always striving to improve his craft while playing with several bands in the area over the years.  Jeff left a lasting impression on those who knew and loved him and he will be sorely missed.   A celebration of life will held in Jeff’s honor.  Details will be forthcoming.
