Jonathan Lawrence Jones, Sr., affectionately known as "Johnny", 47, arrived into this world at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center in Palm Beach Gardens on March 22, 1971, and departed to heaven at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center on June 12, 2018. He is survived by his beloved mother, Aggie Crosby; his son, Jonathan, Jr.; his daughter, Brielle Grace; three brothers, James Jones, Jesse Jones, and Rossell Crosby, III; his sister, Monica Crosby, and his large extended family and friends whose lives he touched too numerous to name. He was predeceased by his father, James Jones, who he will finally meet and welcome him into heaven, as well as his step-father, Rossell Crosby, Jr. Jonathan had the passion to serve his community as a Chef. He pursued his lifelong dream & touched countless lives and palates of his many devoted customers. From Southern Kitchen to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, he served delicious food and a smile to all he came in contact with. Johnny was a huge sports fan, especially his Dallas Cowboys. He served as a Coach to many of JJ and Brielle's teams and had a passion for children. His love for the game of Cornhole will forever be his legacy now known as "Mr. South Florida Cornhole", and will be sorely missed by everyone who had the pleasure of coming into contact with him. The battle he fought against the torment of heart disease and pneumonia was heartbreaking. yet, his courageous and perseverance stand as inspiration. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Christ Fellowship South Campus, 5312 Northlake Blvd, Palm Beach Gardens. Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until the service time.
