Ways you can honor Waltraud's memory:
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Trudy Pistor (nee Kaiser). She was born August 28, 1925, in Esslingen, Germany, the youngest of three sisters who were Ruth and Liselotte.
After World War II Trudy was employed by the United States Army in Germany, largely because she was fluent in English. She was even sent to the United States, on business, in the early 1950's. This enticed her to emigrate to the United States.
She eventually met and married her husband, Dr. A.F. "Doc" Pistor, a renowned chemist and inventor and developer of Latex Paint, in New Jersey. In the late 60's, after Doc's retirement, they moved to Juno Beach where they built a home. Doc predeceased her on March 29, 1976, and Trudy continued to live in the house, on her own, until this past January. She was always an independent thinker and was able to look after herself until she suffered a stroke in December, 2020.
Trudy is survived by her two nephews, Peter, and his family in Canada, and Werner, and his family, in Germany. Trudy is also survived by her two great neighbors, of whom she always had their great support and friendship.
We would also like to thank the staff of La Posada, for their caring attention.
Private Services will take place.
