Helen Mary Hill Boyd Wooten, 94, passed away on August 14,2021. Born In Waterbury, CT on February 4, 1927. She was a wife to Jack Charles Boyd until 1961, and Charles "Chuck" Wooten until 1976. She was a mother to Keith Allen Boyd of Lake Park, Fl, Helen Boyd Lintner of Carrollton, TX , John Joseph Boyd, deceased and James Clayton Boyd, deceased. She was a grandmother to several granchildren and great-grandmother to several great grandchildren.
She had various occupations over the years including the meat department at Kwik Chek; office manager at Thousand of Auto Parts; claims clerk at American States; and a clerk at the Palm Beach County Courthouse. However, her favorite work was at the The Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #2010, Chapter #1471 in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. As life member of The Moose she was very involved as an accountant, serving and helping to raise money for the charities sponsored by the Moose.
Her hobbies included sewing, arts and crafts, and quilting. She collected food and clothing for women shelters and sewed pillow cases for the Pediatric Department at Palm Beach Gardens Hospital.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday August 28th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at The Loyal Order of the Moose, 3600 RCA Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410 You will be required to wear a mask.
