Aurea Elena “Elena” Krangel, 74, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on September 25th after a brief illness.
Elena was born in Paterson, New Jersey, and spent her childhood between Paterson and Manatí, Puerto Rico. She lived much of her adult life in West Windsor, New Jersey, before retiring to West Palm Beach with her late husband, Stan. Elena was a lifelong animal lover and especially enjoyed caring for her two cats, Boo Boo and Red. She had a passion for classic cars, particularly Corvettes, and also enjoyed cooking and gardening.
She is survived by her father, Octavio Moran, her sons Jonathan Krangel and Michael Autocunas. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Krangel, her mother, Aurea Moran, and her brother, Ray Moran.
A service will be held in West Palm Beach at Northwood Funeral Home at 1pm on Friday October 3. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.
