Oscar caminó por este mundo con una mente luminosa y un corazón silencioso.

Guardaba la memoria de los lugares, de los nombres y de los detalles mínimos, como quien honra la vida recordándola. Muchos acudían a él porque siempre sabía dónde estaba todo; pocos sabían que también cargaba miedos profundos y una ternura inmensa.

Detrás de su humor vivía un niño que solo anhelaba sentirse seguro. Y lo fue.

Lo fue en el abrazo de su padre, lo fue en el amor de su familia, lo fue al convertirse en padre de cuatro hijos que fueron su orgullo, su fuerza y su refugio. Eligió y fue elegido desde el amor, y ese lazo jamás se rompió.

Amó los caminos sin rumbo, los cielos abiertos, los viajes compartidos. Sonreía poco ante las cámaras, pero su sonrisa habitaba el alma de quienes lo amamos. Ayudó sin ruido, sintió profundamente, y aunque le costó nombrar sus emociones, las vivió con verdad.

No fue perfecto. Fue humano.

Y en su humanidad dejó una huella de bondad, lealtad y amor sincero.

Quienes lo amamos sabemos que el amor fue su morada en la tierra y que ahora es su descanso. Confiamos en que Dios lo sostiene, y desde la eternidad nos mira con paz, susurrando:

“Sigo con ustedes. Los amo.”

Oscar walked this world with a luminous mind and a quiet heart. He treasured the memory of places, names, and the smallest details, as if honoring life by engraving it in his mind. Many turned to him because he always knew where everything was; few knew that he also carried deep fears and immense tenderness.  

Behind his humor lived a child who only longed to feel safe. And he was. He was safe in his father's embrace, he was safe in his family's love, he was safe when he became the father of four children who were his pride, his strength, and his refuge. He chose and was chosen through love, and that bond was never broken.  

He loved aimless journeys, open skies, and shared travels. He rarely smiled for cameras, but his smile resided in the hearts of those who loved him. He helped quietly, he felt deeply, and although he struggled to name his emotions, he lived them authentically.  

He wasn't perfect. He was human. And in his humanity, he left a legacy of kindness, loyalty, and sincere love.

Those of us who loved him know that love was his home on earth and that it is now his resting place. We trust that God holds him, and from eternity he watches over us with peace, whispering:   "I am still with you. I love you."
